Walker: Open to U.S. Troops vs. ISIS… Umm, No.

From Fox News:

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a potential 2016 Republican presidential candidate, said Sunday he is open to sending U.S. troops to the Middle East to defeat Islamic State fighters — a bold foreign policy statement in contrast with the Obama administration’s position.

Walker told ABC’s “This Week” that he wouldn’t rule out sending troops, as Islamic State appears to grow and strengthen despite U.S.-led efforts to destroy the radical Islamic group.

Sending American troops to fight the medieval-savages-with-modern-warfare-equipment ISIS types?

This is not a good policy position to have.

Nobody here wants to see captured U.S. soldiers getting beheaded on camera, a category of sacrifice for a cause that benefits… whom exactly? Other Arab warlords and kleptocrats?

When it comes to ISIS overtaking other arab and muslim countries, let the likes of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, or Iran battle them, as they will inevitably have to do, in time.
