Argent was a quite underrated band formed by Rod Argent after the premature demise of the even-more-criminally-underrated ’60s band The Zombies.
“Pleasure” is a gorgeous track from Argent’s 1971 album Ring of Hands. Written by Rod Argent, the bridge against the drone pedal nonetheless has guitarist Russ Ballard’s imprint all over it.
And there’s some wonderful bass playing by Jim Rodford.
