On CNN’s Democratic Town Hall last night, I cracked up when Anderson Cooper set up this softball question to Boiny Sanders:
COOPER: I want to ask you — because I think a lot of people don’t know much about your background on this subject. And it’s interesting, 54 years ago, you were in the front lines of trying to desegregate school housing at the University of Chicago. You were even arrested… What was it that motivated a 20-year-old white kid from Brooklyn to do that?
Because, Boiny, you see, is just a regular ‘white guy’ and not part of a very narrow, disproportionately Left-wing, and hugely influential social milieu.
