Andrew Brown writes on disturbing elements of the ‘cult’ of Richard Dawkins. Dawkins’ “selfish gene” thesis, and its “memetics” corollary, is the good stuff. The fanaticism of Dawkins’ atheism is borderline repellant. Dawkins’ megalomania is jaw-droppingly repellant.
