I’ve been warning friends and family to stay away from urban areas on Zimmerman-verdict day.
With the media having created a Narrative about this otherwise prosaic criminal case (“it’s about race in America”), and the same media getting ’em all amped up, should Zimmerman be acquitted I fully expect mayhem, at some level.
The pattern seems to be for them to go wide on the ‘dark continent’ stuff every 20-25 years (e.g., ’68 riots, ’91 L.A. riots.)
