In his seminal, 3-volume history of Jews and their influence upon the Anglo world, Kevin MacDonald regularly employs the trope of the “crypto Jew” or “crypsis”, which basically means cloaking one’s Judaism or, in more secular environments, one’s Jewish ethnocentrism, giving the public appearance of, say, assimilation to Christian universalism while still practicing Jewish particularism.
