Liberal CNN anchor-babe Carol Costello is walking down the street in Atlanta (53.4% black) and, after a violent struggle, gets her iPhone stolen by three blonde males from Sweden. Costello then posts to her FB page:
I was robbed. And I am angry. I was walking down a beautiful, leafy Atlanta street, talking on my IPhone.
Guess what happened next?
Three teenagers ran up behind me. One of them grabbed my IPhone. Stupidly I struggled to hold on-to it. But, he was a big guy. And he pulled out a chunk my hair.
I let go.
As he ran down the street, laughing, I hurled a few expletives his way.
Might such a scary situation transform Costello into a conservative, qua Irving Kristol’s definition of one as a “liberal mugged by reality”?
Well, if Costello’s first public response to the attack is an indication, it doesn’t appear so. In true liberal fashion, she lets her anger at the perps transition into… drumroll… feeling sorry for the three, laughing, blonde, Swedish kids:
I felt no fear at the time, I was just angry. Now I’m angry, shaken and sad. What a lousy life those kids have ahead of them.
Hopefully, those three, laughing, blonde Swedish kids can be featured in a future episode of CNN’s insufferable “Black In America” series.
Er… I mean, the “Swedish In America” series.
