Ridley Scott will be co-producing an AMC mini-series on the bizarre life of ‘occult rocketeer’ Jack Parsons.
Parsons was a rocket scientist and co-founder of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, but also had a lifelong, active interest in the occult (think crazy satanic orgies and the like), and was an active member of Crowley’s OTO.
A young L. Ron Hubbard hung on to Parson’s coattails as he himself explored the occult communities of L.A. in the ’50s.
