The acting legend John Hurt has died at the age of 77.
His career highlights include playing John Merrick in David Lynch’s The Elephant Man (1980), as well as memorable roles in the films Midnight Express (1978), Alien (1979), and A Man for All Seasons (1966), a film I just watched a month ago.
