As I had intimated several times in the past, I thought Shorty Guzman wielded power all the way to the top of Mexican government, and that while other rival cartels might get taken down, his position with the Sinaloa cartel was secure and indefinite.
If, however, he “escapes” from prison again, as he has in the past, my theory will still hold water.
