Florida Gov. Rick Scott said on Tuesday that President Barack Obama has not called him after the worst terrorist attack on US soil – which took place in Scott’s home state – since September 11, 2001…
It’s typically commonplace for the president to call the governor of a state after such catastrophic events.
Scott said that he received a call from former President George W. Bush, who said that he and former first lady Laura Bush “were praying for us.”
Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for president, also phoned him, Scott said.
Scott is a Republican, and appears to be on Trump’s VP shortlist.
