While Britain’s Ministry of Defence advises British military personnel not to wear their uniforms in public (“Quick, we must all hide any sign or symbol that might be construed as national ‘pride’!”), 250 or so members of the English Defence League visited the Woolrich site last night and clashed with police. EDL leader Tommy Robinson said:

at we’ve seen today.
“Our next generation are being taught through schools that Islam is a religion of peace.
“It’s not. It never has been. What you saw today is Islam.
“Everyone’s had enough. There has to be a reaction, for the Government to listen, for the police to listen, to understand how angry this British public are.”
