L.A.: Homeless Camps

I’ve long believed that L.A. — all the glorious consequences of its ‘vibrant’ multiculturalism — represents the future of America, and the future of America will increasingly resemble Rio de Janeiro, that is, gated communities surrounded by sh*t and mayhem.

The LAT has a story on how “More homeless camps are appearing beyond downtown L.A.’s Skid Row“:

Evicted four months ago from their Highland Park apartment, Louis Morales and his 18-year-old stepson, Arthur Valenzuela, live half-hidden by brush along the nearby Arroyo Seco riverbed.
