Less than a week ago, CUNY banned professors and staff — banned, that is, not just recommended — from addressing graduate students by “Mr.” or “Mrs.”
From a bastion of the movement, the NYT (“University Recognizes a 3rd Gender: Neutral“):
Rocko Gieselman, a senior at the University of Vermont, goes by the pronoun “they,” and the school has agreed to use it, acknowledging the next step in identity politics.
