As my palate gets older and, I suppose, more experienced, I find myself gravitating towards dryer and dryer adult beverages.
I discovered this one at an excellent restaurant recently. I knew of the Vesper from Casino Royale, but had never tried Lillet, a French apertif. (Lillet is also Hannibal Lecter’s favorite drink, for what it’s worth.)
- 3 pts of gin
- 1 pt vodka
- 1/2 part Lillet
- Lemon peel for garnish
