Alt-Right Roundup

It’s been a helluva week for the Alt-Right.

Rush cryptically acknowledged the Alt-Right when he announced nationalism/populism has overtaken (traditional, limited government) conservatism in the GOP base. He even took a call from a self-described “Alt-Right” listener.

Then GOP, Inc consultant Rick Wilson performed a rehearsed temper tantrum on (of all places) MSNBC, where he described the Alt-Right as “childless single men who masturbate to anime. They’re not real and political players. These are not people who matter in the overall course of humanity.” Well, well.

Then we had NR’s special issue “Against Trump” temper tantrum.

One senses a panic, a real panic, on the part of GOP elites.

Is the twilight of ‘limited government’ conservatism – an ideology which seems to only translate into more H1-B visas, more outsourced jobs, more Mexican immigration, more transatlantic trade deals, and the further hollowing out of white middle America — finally here?
