Former wrestling superstar and fledgling B-movie star Rowdy Roddy Piper has passed from an apparent heart attack at the age of 61.
Piper was the lead in John Carpenter’s decent sci-fi film They Live (1988), which featured the quasi-immortal line: “I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass — and I’m all out of bubblegum.”
They Live also features a fight scene that has become famous for its extended length and minimal dialogue.
