Finally, the “M” word has been, in essence, spoken.
With Trump’s call for a moratorium on Islamic entries into the U.S., “until we figure out what the hell is going on”, the MSM and GOP Inc. are outraged.
What is great is how Trump’s Twitter feed embraces (without any editing) negative Twitter responses. No commentary needed. This alone showcases how out of touch the aforementioned cultural power-centers are on the matter.
The Cathedral is particularly upset with Frank Gaffney’s Center for Security Policy, whom Trump cites in his moratorium position. They are uber-upset with a phone-poll the Center conducted on U.S. muslim beliefs. Even when conceding methodological concerns, this poll still demonstrates an alarming phenomenon.
I can thank this Cathedral Outrage for tuning me in to NewsmaxTV, which before today I didn’t know existed.
